Moscatel De Setubal Bacalhoa Portugal 75cl
After a short fermentation, selected wine brandy is added and the fortified wine macerates on skins until the end of the winter ( about 5 to 6 months ). It is then aged for a minimum three years in small used oak barrels. The wine is young and rich with a light topaz colour. Suitable for vegans.Produced from selected Pinot Grigio grapes grown on hillside vineyards in Provincia di Pavia, northern Italy. The grapes were hand harvested during the first 2 weeks of September. The grapes were crushed and gently pressed and the juice allowed to settle and clarify before cool fermentation at 16 to 18C in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was bottled young after a period of 3 to 6 months ageing on fine lees in stainless steel tanks.
