Bright aromas of wild blackberry and spice. The palate has ripe bramble fruit, supple tannins and juicy acidity. An approachable, warm and juicy red from Portugal's Douro region. Perfect with hearty bean and lentil casseroles, with or without sausages.The local grapes - Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa and Tinta Roriz - grow in fine soils with some schist in vineyards near Cambres, in the western part of the Douro valley and south of the river. The climate here is warm and dry, and some of the vines are over 50 years old. After harvesting fermentation takes place in stainless steel, with a small portion (around 10%) ageing for 4 months in 2nd year French oak barrels, before the final blending and bottling.

This wine is made from Koshu, Japan’s indigenous wine grape which can be traced back to 1186 when it was discovered growing wild at Katsunama in Yamanashi prefecture.Pale yellow colour. Refreshing aromas of citrus fruits such as lemon, lime, sudachi and apple, nuance of toasted bread derived from Sur Lie Method appears. Fresh acidity is accented by pleasant astringency extracted from the skin of Koshu grapes.FOOD MATCHGreen salad, various sashimi or seafood dishes with toasty flavours such as gratin of cod, roasted Spanish mackerel seasoned with Saikyo miso, sautéed cuttlefish, seafood Paella.Koshu grapes are grown in Yamanashi Prefecture and harvest takes place from early September to early October. Fermentation in a stainless steel tank at 18 to 20 degrees for about 14 days, The wine is aged for about 8 months in a stainless steel tank.

Gavi La Luciana also provides the perfect crisp, tangy match to fatty dishes such as sausages and beans.Suitable for vegansSuitable for vegetariansThis winery is also classed as Sustainable.Named after Luciana, the wife of La Battistina estate's previous owner, this is an elegant and fresh Gavi, easy-drinking but with some depth.Produced from Cortese grapes cultivated in vineyards on the Monferrato hills in the South of the province of Asti, Piemonte. The vineyards are southwest facing and situated at altitudes of between 250 and 400m. The Piemonte low Guyot trellis system is used for the vines, which grow in a limestone-clay soil. Planting density is 4000 to 4500 vines per hectare. Grapes are hand harvested in the last week of September. Temperature controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel (16- 18ºC) and the wine spends a couple of months on lees.

Passimora is produced from grapes that have been slightly dried in the warm Sicilian sun. The wine has an intense character, charming and persistent. It is deep red in colour and has a bouquet of red fruit and pomegranate accompanied by sweet notes of dried plum and candied fruit.  The wine is matured in stainless steel for approximately 4 months. No oak is used.Excellent with cured meat platters, seasoned and fresh cheese, tempura vegetables and stews.Suitable for vegetarians.
