Harvest typically begins in the middle of September - grapes are hand harvested and collected in 20 kilo crates. 70% of the grapes are macerated before pressing for 6 hours at a controlled temperature. The mineral and fruity character from the Arantei grapes is balanced by the freshness of the Taboexa grapes.

The Maipo River regulates the temperatures naturally and prevents frost and extremes of heat and cold. The spring of 2013 was slightly colder than the historic average, followed by a summer with high temperatures, which accelerated ripening and prevented the delays that were initially predicted for the 2014 harvest. Rainfall in the Maipo Valley was concentrated in the winter months and reached approximately 250 mm, which is well below the nearly 450 mm recorded during the 2012–2013 season. The grape reception area includes a double selection conveyor belt that allows selection first at the bunch level and again after destemming. Vinification begins with a 4–5-day prefermentation cold soak at 8ºC followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts at 26ºC and a pumpovers program determined by enological criteria. Malolactic fermentation takes place naturally in tanks and barrels, where the wine is aged at controlled temperatures for 12 months. The grapes were hand picked in late April and early May and submitted to a week-long pre-fermentation cold treatment at 8ºC (46ºF) to extract more fruit characteristics. Alcoholic fermentation took place at 25º–28ºC (77º–82ºF) with pumpovers determined by daily tastings through the end of the process. A post-fermentation maceration followed, and then the wine was devatted, separating the free-run wine from the skins. Malolactic fermentation took place naturally. 20% of the wine was aged in French oak for 6 months and then blended for a more complex character.Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.This wine is Organic.

This wine is bright ruby red in colour. On the nose, generous
aromas of strawberries and red cherries stand out, with spicy
complexity coming from the oak ageing. It is vibrant and supple

and a lovely fresh finish.The Guedes family had always rated the quality of the Herdade
do Peso grapes – they had been using them in their Vinha do
Monte wines since the early 1990s – and jumped at the
opportunity to purchase the estate in 1996. Situated in the south of
the Alentejo, in the sub-region of Vidígueira, the Herdade do Peso
estate covers a total of 457 hectares, 160 hectares of which are
currently planted with vines. Winemaker Luís Cabral de Almeida
makes expressive and generous wines that reflect the warmer
climate of the Alentejo.
Despite its southerly location, Vidígueira is one of the cooler
Alentejo sub-regions and benefits from cool Atlantic air funnelled
inland from the coast by a gap in the surrounding mountains.
Limestone soils help to control vine vigour and lend elegance to
the wines. All of the Herdade do Peso vineyards are sustainably
farmed and an on-site dam provides much-needed water to
irrigate the vineyards during the Alentejo summers.
Following full destemming and gentle crushing, maceration and
fermentation took place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled
temperature of 26ºC over a period of around eight days. After
malolactic fermentation, the wine aged in second, third and
fourth fill French oak barrels for around six months. It underwent a
light fining and filtration before bottling.

in middle of September and taken immediately to the wine-making cellar. With
the destemmer press, proceed to separate the grape stalk and break the berry by
conveying the juice and the skins into a cooled stainless-steel winemaker. The
crushed wine remains in cryo maceration, at about 10 ° C, in the vinifier for a
few hours. Juice and skins are then pressed in an ultra-soft way to extract the
flower must which is conveyed into the stainless-steel tanks and kept at a
temperature not exceeding 0 ° C for static decantation and conservation. The
clean must is transferred to a stainless-steel autoclave and heated to 13-15 °
C for the Martinotti method sparkling wine.In the autoclave selected yeasts
are inoculated at a constant temperature of 15-16 ° C for about 40 days. The
sparkling wine is brought to -3 ° C for tartaric stabilization, protein, and batonnage is performed on the
yeasts. Before bottling the wine is filtered with a tangential filter, and

An intense garnet red colour. The nose has aromas of red and black ripe fruit such as kirsch and wild blackberry. The mouth is full, with blackcurrant and spice with harmonious tannins. The finish is elegant with hints of liquorice and vanilla which give the wine length and complexity.The grapes are aged in vats with about 10% of the final wine aged in oak barrels.Lirac is located on the opposite side of the river to Chateauneuf du Pape in the Rhone Valley.

Made from a selection of parcels from 15 - 25 year old vineyards located in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa. After de-stemming the grapes are crushed and the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks. Once fermentation has finished the wine is put into barrels for ageing. The wine is aged for a minimum 12 months in French and American oak barrels. Once the wines is bottled, it is kept a further 12 months in bottle before release. The wine in an attractive colour with soft spice and refined oak on the nose with a depth of jammy red berry fruits. Luscious and intense with pleasant tannins that mingle with fresh and mature fruit. The finish is delicious with long lasting flavours.

name from the windmill ('molino') that sits on the edge of the
vineyards where they produce their fruit. In contrast to other
windmills, which turn in windy conditions, this particular windmill is
"loco", the Spanish for crazy, as it turns only on calm, still days.
The vineyards are located at an altitude of 500 metres above sea
level. They are dry-farmed and the clay soil is poor, meaning that
the roots of the vines grow deep into the earth in their search for
minerals and nutrients. This helps to ensure healthy, ripe, full of
flavour grapes. The Monastrell vineyards are over 18 years old,
while the Syrah vines are slightly younger, averaging around 15
The grapes were gently crushed before being fermented and
macerated on their skins for 10 days at a controlled temperature
of 24-26ºC in stainless-steel tanks. After fermentation the wine was
aged very briefly in oak to round out the tannins. The delicate
grape processing preserved the natural fruit purity and freshness
that is so typical of the Molino Loco style.

days of September and taken immediately to the vinification cellar, where the
de-stemming and crushing is performed. The transfer of the crushed grapes into
conical trunk vats in oak wood is not temperate controlled. The wine is then
drawn off, separated from the marc, and transferred to oak barrels at a
controlled temperature where the malolactic fermentation takes place. Here the
vinification is slow and uses the techniques of delestage and batonage. The
wine is decanted into steel tanks and the topping is carried out until it is
left to mature and stabilize for about 4 months. The wine is then transferred
to the bottling cellar where it is clarified and filtered and introduced into
the bottling line. The bottles are then left to mature for a few months.
