Intense and deep coloured with aromas of nuts, honey and wood. The full and soft body has a complex flavours of walnuts, dried fruits, coffee and caramel. Full bodied with a very lengthy finish.Superb after dinner or with chocolate desserts.Madeira is a fortified wine that depends upon heat and evaporation to create consistent long lasting styles. The must is fortified, either to arrest fermentation for a Malmsey or a Bual, or later in the fermentation process, in the case of Sercial or Verdelho before undergoing its own very special maturation. The Canteiro process is employed for all 10 and 15 year old Madeiras from H&H where the wine is heated naturally in barrels over some months to enhance concentration and consistency of the wine. Malmsey produces a rich sweet style whilst still exhibiting delicious mouthwatering acidity.

Intense pale golden colour. The aromatic range includes lychee and some pineapple notes. The wood integration is seamless with just a distant hint of vanilla. The wine is superbly balanced on the palate with some citrus fruit and honeyed character underpinned by very fine, flinty acidity. The principal component variety of the Altano Reserva White is the Viosinho, widely regarded as one of the finest indigenous white grape variety from the Douro Valley. The Viosinho grapes are entirely sourced from a Symington family owned vineyard at an altitude range of 500 to 600 metres. Other important components are the Códega do Larinho and Gouveio varietites, also sourced from high altitude vineyards from the Murça and Alijó areas, from which we conserved the necessary acidity for the barrel- fermented wines, left on lees until bottling. 70% of the blend fermented and aged sur lie in barrel. New and second year barrels used with a 50/50 split. Bottled in June 2018 and stored to attain some bottle-ageing prior to release.A couple of years of bottle age are ideal for enjoyment of the wine at its best.Vineyards planted in altitude, in Provezende, Alijó and Murça areas of the Douro. 59% Viosinho, 35% Códega do Larinho, 6% Gouveio.Suitable for vegans.Suitable for vegetarians.

These are located in the Cafayate Valley in the very heart of the Calchaqui Valley, distinguished for being the highest wine region in the world. The climate here is very dry, with just 150mm of rain in an average year and a huge diurnal temperature change of around 20°C. The soils here are rocky, poor and sandy so the roots of the vines are forced to dig deep to find the vital nutrients and water they need, which in turn results in a huge concentration of flavour within the fruit.

The nose is intense, with a pronounced presence of fruity aromas such as cherries and strawberries as well as truffle and chocolate. Medium bodied, well balanced, and delicate, with particularly smooth tannins and rich acidity, resulting in a juicy and very pleasing wine with a persistent finish.Ideal with meat-based dishes and stews. This wine shows a unique harmony with grilled blood sausage, slow-cooked beef, and pastas such as gnocchi with blue cheese. Serve at 18ºC in a Bordeauxstyle glass.The grapes for this wine come from organic vineyards of Los Morros and Los Robles in the Maipo Valley. Soils are alluvial, rich in minerals with good drainage and irrigated by water from the snow  thaw. The grapes were hand picked. The Maipo zone has ideal conditions for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. The Maipo River regulates the temperatures naturally and prevents frost and extremes of heat and cold. The spring of 2013 was slightly colder than the historic average, followed by a summer with high temperatures, which accelerated ripening and prevented the delays that were initially predicted for the 2014 harvest. Rainfall in the Maipo Valley was concentrated in the winter months and reached approximately 250 mm, which is well below the nearly 450 mm recorded during the 2012–2013 season. The grape reception area includes a double selection conveyor belt that allows selection first at the bunch level and again after destemming. Vinification begins with a 4–5-day prefermentation cold soak at 8ºC followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts at 26ºC and a pumpovers program determined by enological criteria. Malolactic fermentation takes place naturally in tanks and barrels, where the wine is aged at controlled temperatures for 12 months. It is neither fined nor stabilized; it is just lightly filtered with a 1-micron cartridge filter priorto bottling.Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.This wine is Organic.

Also excellent paired with pastas such as rigatoni and ripe cheeses.  The Colchagua Valley extends from San Fernando in the north to Chimbarongo in the south. The climate is Mediterranean, and the area receives winds from the south and morning fog. Springs are frost-free, and summers are very warm, which encourages proper ripening. Summers are hot but with cool night temperatures. The soils are medium to very deep, of alluvial origin, and have a silty-loam texture that allows for good vine development. The grapes were hand picked in late April and early May and submitted to a week-long pre-fermentation cold treatment at 8ºC (46ºF) to extract more fruit characteristics. Alcoholic fermentation took place at 25º–28ºC (77º–82ºF) with pumpovers determined  by daily tastings through the end of the process. A post-fermentation maceration followed, and then the wine was devatted, separating the free-run wine from the skins. Malolactic fermentation took place naturally. 20% of the wine was aged in French oak for 6 months and then blended for a more complex character.Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.This wine is Organic.
