Attractive aromas of black currant and crunchy red fruit accompanied by notes spice. The palate is concentrated and very smooth with great crunchy red fruit character. The tannins are ripe and providewelcome grip and combined delicious acidity, leads to a balanced finish.FOOD MATCHThis wine is ideal with well-seasoned, strong-flavoured dishes, such as pasta with Bolognese sauce, stuffed cannelloni, grilled beef, pork, or poultry. It also goes very nicely with ripe cheeses, salami, ham, and pastrami. The Central Valley vitivinicultural zone extends from the Maipo Valley in the north to the Maule Valley in the south. The entire zone has good drainage, high fertility, and tremendous agricultural aptitude, especially for red grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, and others. The Mediterranean climate has warm summers with broad daily oscillations between daytime and night time temperatures, and cold, rainy winters that allow for good vine development. The soils are of alluvial origin with moderate depth, and good for agriculture. The grapes were hand picked in mid- April and submitted to a week-long pre-fermentation cold soak at 8ºC (46ºF) to extract fresh fruit characteristics. Alcoholic fermentation took place at 25º–28ºC with daily pump-overs. The new wine remained on its skins for a period, after which the free run wine was separated from its skins and allowed to undergo malolactic fermentation naturally. Part of this wine was aged in oak barrels for 6 months and later reblended to achieve a more complex character.Suitable for Vegetarians and VegansThis wine is Organic.

The idea with the Bean is to create a wine with dark fruit that is finely integrated with coffee/mocha flavours. To achieve this, the wine was fermented and aged on well roasted French oak staves. Smooth and medium bodied it has great balance and a lingering finish.The vineyard is located in Nashik, to the north of Mumbai in the Western Ghats Mountains. The vines are grown at approximately 600 metres above sea level. The climate here is mild in the winter with temperatures of approximately 10°C, rising to 35°C in the summer. Rainfall can be high. The vines are grown in red soils with gravel and clay, which has a high iron content and good drainage. deep purple wine with delicious notes of ripe blackberry and blueberry fruit, enlivened by a hint of black peppery spice and a touch of rich dark chocolate. Smooth and medium bodied on the palate, it shows great balance and a lingering finish.The grapes were cold soaked and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of between 25° to 30°C. During fermentation regular, gentle pump-overs took place to extract the desired levels of colour and flavour and to impart structure to the wine.
