Intense pale golden colour. The aromatic range includes lychee and some pineapple notes. The wood integration is seamless with just a distant hint of vanilla. The wine is superbly balanced on the palate with some citrus fruit and honeyed character underpinned by very fine, flinty acidity. The principal component variety of the Altano Reserva White is the Viosinho, widely regarded as one of the finest indigenous white grape variety from the Douro Valley. The Viosinho grapes are entirely sourced from a Symington family owned vineyard at an altitude range of 500 to 600 metres. Other important components are the Códega do Larinho and Gouveio varietites, also sourced from high altitude vineyards from the Murça and Alijó areas, from which we conserved the necessary acidity for the barrel- fermented wines, left on lees until bottling. 70% of the blend fermented and aged sur lie in barrel. New and second year barrels used with a 50/50 split. Bottled in June 2018 and stored to attain some bottle-ageing prior to release.A couple of years of bottle age are ideal for enjoyment of the wine at its best.Vineyards planted in altitude, in Provezende, Alijó and Murça areas of the Douro. 59% Viosinho, 35% Códega do Larinho, 6% Gouveio.Suitable for vegans.Suitable for vegetarians.

The Central Valley is set in between the majestic Andes Mountains and the mighty Pacific Ocean, making it an ideal location for growing grapes. The mountains protect the wine region by creating dry, hot climatic conditions and the cold ocean breezes keep the vines cool. Ruby red in colour. The nose is intense, with a pronounced presence of fruity aromas such as cherries and strawberries as well as truffle and chocolate. Medium bodied, well balanced, and delicate, with particularly smooth tannins and rich acidity, resulting in a juicy and very pleasing wine with a persistent finish.Ideal with meat-based dishes and stews. This wine shows a unique harmony with grilled blood sausage, slow-cooked beef, and pastas such as gnocchi with blue cheese. Serve at 18ºC in a Bordeauxstyle glass.The grapes for this wine come from organic vineyards of Los Morros and Los Robles in the Maipo Valley. Soils are alluvial, rich in minerals with good drainage and irrigated by water from the snow  thaw. The grapes were hand picked. The Maipo zone has ideal conditions for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. The Maipo River regulates the temperatures naturally and prevents frost and extremes of heat and cold. The spring of 2013 was slightly colder than the historic average, followed by a summer with high temperatures, which accelerated ripening and prevented the delays that were initially predicted for the 2014 harvest. Rainfall in the Maipo Valley was concentrated in the winter months and reached approximately 250 mm, which is well below the nearly 450 mm recorded during the 2012–2013 season. The grape reception area includes a double selection conveyor belt that allows selection first at the bunch level and again after destemming. Vinification begins with a 4–5-day prefermentation cold soak at 8ºC followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts at 26ºC and a pumpovers program determined by enological criteria. Malolactic fermentation takes place naturally in tanks and barrels, where the wine is aged at controlled temperatures for 12 months. It is neither fined nor stabilized; it is just lightly filtered with a 1-micron cartridge filter priorto bottling.Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.This wine is Organic.

A wonderful blend of grapes from the Veneto and Alto Adige giving zesty mineral notes and great Sauvignon character. Delightfully well balanced and appealing fruit and acidity make this a most enchanting wine.Enjoy on its own or with a range of fish and light meat dishes.Vines are grown on the hills of Eastern Veneto and at the foothills of the Dolomites in Trentino Alto Adige. The grapes are harvested in early September during the cooler hours of the day and taken immediately to the vinification cellar where they are cooled, they are de-stemmed and crushed with the destemmer press and the must with the pomace is conveyed to the cooled press where it remains in cryo maceration for a few hours. The must is transferred to stainless steel tanks and kept at a temperature not exceeding 14 ° C for about 30 days. The must remain on its own lees for about 1 month in stainless steel tanks.The wine is then drawn off, separated from the pomace, and transferred to stainless steel tanks and the topping up is carried out until it is left to mature and stabilize for about 1 month. The wine thus created is transferred to the bottling cellar where it is clarified and filtered and introduced into the bottling line. The bottles are then left to mature for a few months.

The perfect partner for mushroom-parmesan risotto.The Casablanca Valley is influenced by its proximity to the Pacific Ocean and its coastal breezes that moderate temperatures. The area ranges from soft rolling hills to higher hills toward the Coastal  Mountain range in the east. The poor, sandy loam soils are alluvial in origin, relatively shallow and very permeable, resulting in yields which are generally low in comparison with other Chilean valleys.  Temperatures are much cooler here, allowing the grapes to ripen very slowly to produce rich flavoured wines. The Casablanca Valley is influenced by the Pacific Ocean and the Humboldt Current, resulting in constant humidity and average temperatures of 25ºC in the summer and 14ºC in the winter. The spring of 2015 was cooler than average and the relative humidity was higher. This caused uneven budbreak and later ripening. An increase in rainfall forced an earlier harvest in April. The grapes are harvested into 400-kg bins and transported to the winery, where first the clusters and then the grapes (after destemming) are selected on a conveyor belt. Once in the tank, they undergo a pre-fermentation maceration for 3 days, followed naturally by alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts. During this stage, temperatures are kept at 24-26º C, with a gentle pump-over routine. A 2-3-day post-fermentation maceration is then carried out. Malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously in stainless steel tanks and barrels. The wine is filtered through 1-micron membranes and then bottled. 70% of the wine is aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.This wine is Organic.
