65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot & 5% Petit Verdot.
Plenty of juicy, chunky blackcurrant fruit, firm tannins and fine length. Classic Cissac.
"Showing more fruit and density than I found in previous vintages, Cissac’s 2012 from proprietor Vialard is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot. Avoiding some of the austerity that this vintage can possess, this wine exhibits good minerality, a dense ruby/purple colour, some cassis, and surprising depth and ripeness, Drink it over the next 10+ years." Robert Parker 87+/100

a microclimate favorable to the development of the famous Botrytis or noble, to produce natural sweet
wines. Sauternes and Barsac host some very prestigious wines, recognized worldwide, such as Yquem or
Climens. Château Péchon is situated at the heart of an excecptional terroir, which favours the production

Les Palomettes is made from grapes of very old vines, some around 70 years old. Planted on small rolling hills at the foothills of Mont Canigou (Pyrenees), with a strong influence from the Mediterranean Sea.
Jean-Luc Colombo is a relatively young company by French wine standards. My wife Anne and I moved to Cornas in the heart of the Rhône Valley in 1982. First, we set up an oenology lab and I began working as a winemaking consultant in the region. Four years later, we bought our first vineyard ‘Les Ruchets’ and celebrated the first vintage in 1987. The business went from strength-to-strength which allowed us to invest in more vineyards and a house on the Cornas hillside, whilst working as a regional négociant. Today, as well as owning vineyards in Cornas, Saint-Péray and the surrounding area, we are investing in a vineyard and winery development in the stunning ‘Blue Coast’ area and have our own winery, offices, bottling line and oenology laboratory in the centre of Cornas.

A lively fresh and balanced attack with spice and fruity note, the full texture precedes a clean refreshing finish.

Daniel and Christine Chaussy, brother and sister, are the 5th generation (following on from their mother) to run Mas de Boislauzon. They are always looking to make improvements while respecting tradition and the vines. The Domaine is in the north of the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation: it takes in 10 hectares (23 acres) in Châteauneuf du Pape and 18 hectares (40 acres) in Côtes du Rhône Villages, split up into 30 parcels. Daniel follows the principles of sustainable grape-farming, favoring tilling the soil, de-budding, green-harvesting, leaf-removal and letting the weeds grow. Picking is done by hand with very fussy bunch-sorting for both the estate’s appellations.
The two oaks image that appears on all Mas de Boislauzon packaging is a sketch of the two oak trees on the property that mark the actual border limits of the Côtes du Rhône Villages and Châteauneuf du Pape appellations.
