A dark ruby red wine with purple hints. It is medium bodied and has aromas of dark fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant and some savoury notes of cedar and roasted coffee.

The palate has cassis, layered with dark chocolate with dark chocolate and spices, balanced by fresh juicy fruits and bouncy acid, the wine has fine tannins and a smooth finish.

Try with lamb chops.

Fruit for Twist of Fate Cab. Sauv. is sourced from Jack Kay’s vineyard in Bool Lagoon (located between Coonawarra and Wrattonbully) and from Brett Williams’ vineyard in southern Coonawarra. The terra rossa soils and cool climate of these vineyards make them the perfect partners for growing high quality Cabernet.

Samuel Wynn & Co Last Rights Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep red Cabernet with hints of cassis and cinnamon that give way to concentrated blackberries and dark, plush fruit. It is medium to full bodied but balanced with natural fruit sweetness and spiciness from clever use of oak.

This Chardonnay is light yellow in colour and has light caramel oak and slightly floral aromas. It is clean and crisp with warm oak flavours with apple and peach. It is silky and will pear well with hearty dishes such as roast chicken with white truffle risotto and tuna.

Best served lightly chilled.

Brilliant rosé colour. Bright strawberries on the nose with a very balanced palate and long finish. The wine has no oak ageing.

Grapes are grown in the Finca El Retiro vineyards located 1,650 mts above sea level in Cafayate, Salta. Surrounded by ancient and magnificent cacti, the vineyard age is 65 years vines produce approx. 15 tones/hectares. Harvest takes place by hand in three batches between end of January when just ripe; 2 weeks later when just right; and one week after that which adds complexity. Use of selected yeast. Maceration in press with carbonic for 4 hours. Alcoholic fermentation for 25 days at a temperature between 13 ºC & 15 ºC. Non spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
