Established in 1993 by brothers Hernán and Eduardo Gras, MontGras has become synonymous with innovation and modernity in the Chilean wine industry. The winery is renowned for its dynamic approach to winemaking, blending state-of-the-art technology with traditional craftsmanship to produce bold and expressive wines.

MontGras is big on sustainability! Since 2011, the winery has been certified under the Sustainable Code of Viñas de Chile, an initiative aimed at incorporating sustainable practices within wine companies. In 2021, MontGras certified 100% of its portfolio as vegan and introduced a new range of organic wines. They practice responsible vineyard management, efficient resource utilisation, and a steadfast commitment to environmental stewardship.

They have access to diverse vineyards, which enables the creation of distinctive wines. For instance, vineyards in cooler climates, such as Leyda, allow MontGras to produce naturally low alcohol wines. MontGras is celebrated for its modern, bold wine blends, focusing on specific grape varieties and meticulous batch selection to craft artisanal wines.

This wine showcases a deep ruby red colour. Aromas of cassis, black plums, and red fruits are complemented by subtle hints of black pepper and vanilla. On the palate, it offers great volume, a juicy texture, and fruity flavours perfectly balanced with delicate oak influences.

Discovered in 1869, the ‘Star of South Africa’ was the first large diamond find in the country. On hearing of the stone, the Earl of Dudley purchased it, had it mounted on a head ornament with 95 smaller diamonds and gave it to the countess of Dudley – it was hence known as the ‘Dudley Diamond’.

This Chenin Blanc is pale straw in colour with sumptuous aromas of peach and melon. These characteristics are echoed on the palate, where they are perfectly balanced with a zingy lime freshness and crisp, refreshing finish.

Serve chilled, this wine is ideal with spicy Asian seafood dishes.

From South Africa's Western Cape. Cool hand harvested grapes are crushed immediately and the juice left for overnight settling. Cool fermentation of clear juice. Wines left on fine lees until just before preparation for bottling. Straw yellow in colour, on the nose you get apple, pear ,quince and light floral notes.

Fresh and fruity with crisp acidity and minerality. A clean finish with subtle citrus and stone fruit.

The vineyard is located in Nashik, to the north of Mumbai in the Western Ghats Mountains. The vines are grown at approximately 600 metres above sea level, where warm days give way to cooler nights, resulting in ripe fruit with balancing natural acidity. The climate here is mild in the winter with temperatures of approximately 10°C, rising to 35°C in the summer. Rainfall can be high, nourishing the vines throughout the growing season. The vines are grown in red soils with gravel and clay, which has a high iron content and offers good drainage.

The grapes were gently whole bunch pressed. The must was slowly fermented for 25 to 30 days at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks, retaining the purity of fruit of the Chenin Blanc grapes. The wine was left to settle for approximately two months.

Aromas of green apple and pear combine with tropical fruit flavours and mineral undertones. A notable acidity and hint of white pepper give this wine refreshing character.

A fantastic balance of ripeness, varietal character and finesse, with a fragrant rose water and lychee nose, lemon aromas and a slight steely character. The palate is the ideal balance of richness and freshness, with notes of rose petal, honey and faint hints of lemon.

Try with blue cheeses, exotic cuisine such as the lemongrass flavours of Thai food or fish/chicken curries featuring ginger, mustard seed and spice.

Produced traditionally by winemaker Michel Lihrmann - pneumatic pressing, temperature controlled fermentation, no fining and light filtration before bottling - to preserve the fruit, aroma and elegance of the grapes. His philosophy is to make wines with good acidity and fruit balance whilst retaining freshness and harmony.

Produced using the classical method our Henners Brut NV is a blend of the three classic sparkling grape varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, grown on both our own clay and neighbouring grower’s chalk soils which complement each other in terms of generosity and finesse. These components are blended each year with small proportions of reserve wine to bring additional depth and structure. Aged on lees for 3 years it is an elegant, refined wine with great balance and a delicious citrus and orchard fruit backbone

Sourced from vineyards in Worcestershire and Essex, this 100 % Pinot Noir was made using clones selected for their small berries to ensure maximum flavour concentration. The grapes underwent a 5 day cold soak, followed by fermentation on skins for 10 days before being pressed and transferred to tank and barrel for ageing. 75 % was aged in stainless steel to retain freshness and li ft, while 25 % matured in French oak barrels to bring delicate structure and subtle spice.

Danger Bay Sauvignon Blanc Western Cape is produced from carefully selected grapes, many of which are grown in vineyards benefitting from high altitude or cooling sea breezes. A vibrant Sauvignon blanc that is fresh and exciting, unoaked, with lemon grass, white blossom, gooseberry and lime coming through. A wine showing great minerality and balance on palate with loads of concentration in flavour that lingers with a creamy finish.

Danger Bay has been carefully created by winemaker Leon Esterhuizen of Journey’s End fame. It is perfect as a glass on its own, it is also a great accompaniment to white meats, fish, salads and light pasta dishes.

Macerated in the press overnight with extended cold settling, followed by a cool fermentation, 20% of the wine was fermented in second fill French barrels and left on lees for 3 months.

Little James Blanc is a wine of fruit, fullness and youthful promise. 

A rare 50/50% balance of Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier as the two grapes are traditionally grown in different regions- Except in Languedoc. In these cool hills the southern varietal Sauvignon Blanc and Northern Varietal Viognier immerse themselves with the limestone soils, delivering complexity and freshness.  Their marriage helps bring a subtle balance delivering a fresh wine with aromas of apricot, grapefruit, lychee and full of youth and fruit.

The grapes were cold soaked and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of between 25° to 30°C. During fermentation regular, gentle pump-overs took place to extract the desired levels of colour and flavour and to impart structure to the wine.
