**New in Stock** Produced traditionally by head winemaker Michel Lihrmann. Grapes are selected from vineyards with diverse soils - limestone, granite, gravel, marl and sandstone which impart different characters and styles to the overall blend. The grapes are harvested by hand and machine, depending on site. Pneumatic pressing, temperature controlled fermentation, no fining and light filtration before bottling, all to preserve the fruit and aromatics. Turckheim's Tradition range are benchmarks for the classic Alsace varieties. The Pinot Gris has lovely ripe pear and a touch of warm ginger spice on the nose and a medium bodied, just off-dry palate with a typically Turckheim finish - fresh and well-balanced.It is well matched with meaty white fish such as monkfish, salmon or smoked trout and also with spicy Thai food.Vegan and Vegetarian

Primitivo Passitivo IGT Puglia
Intense ruby red colour with a complex bouquet, reminiscent of cherries, raspberries and redcurrants. The oak ageing adds a pleasant roasted and spicy aroma. The palate is full bodied, supple and well balanced with a long finish.Just before harvest the grapes, when the grapes are fully mature and are ready to be picked, the stems of the bunches are twisted so that no further nourishment reaches the grapes, thus inducing a natural drying of the grapes on the vine. The bunches are left for about 12 days and lose approximately 25 - 30% of their weight in water, concentrating their flavours before harvest. Perfect with roast red meats and mature cheeses.
