Fresh, plummy aromas with savoury, smoky notes. The palate is ripe and rich with vibrant fruit, slightly rustic yet moreish tannins and a persistent finish. Perfect with pork belly dishes or barbecued meats, boerwurst, game or good, old fashioned sausage and mash.Suitable for vegans.Suitable for vegetarians.The grapes for False Bay Bush Vine Pinotage stem from a single vineyard of unirrigated bush vines in Stellenbosch. The attraction to this mature (planted in 1996), coastal, bush vine vineyard were the cooler temperatures and small, naturally balanced and concentrated berries. Made by Waterkloof's talented young Cellarmaster Nadia Barnard. Balanced grapes are hand harvested, fermented spontaneously with wild yeast and then raised in large wooden casks (or 'foudre' en Francais). The resulting wine therefore, is perhaps more 'Pino' than 'Tage'. No additions other than sulphur as a preservative. Grown, made and bottled in South Africa. Cabernet Sauvignon Warwick Estate The First Lady South Africa
True Cabernet Sauvignon nose, dark chocolate, black berries, and cassis. The palate pure and fresh with classic notes of dark berries, rosemary, cigar box and dark chocolate. Tannins are finely structured and supported by a rich and creamy texture. Ready to enjoy but will reward cellaring over the next three to five years.Grapes are picked at optimal ripeness and transported to the cellar and de-stemmed into tank. The wines spend between 7 and 12 days on the skins depending on the tannin structure, with three to four pump overs per day and then pressed to undergo malolactic fermentation in tank.

The nose is enticing with notes of yellow apple, pear and citrus. The palate is medium-bodied with a creamy texture and notes of apple, yellow citrus and tropical pineapple. The finish is crisp and clean with an aftertaste of lovely citrus and stone fruits. Grapes are picked in the early hours of the morning to retain freshness and aromatics. De-stemmed and crushed straight to the press with no skin contact. The majority of the fermintation takes place in stainless steel while 4% of the wine is fermented in old oak to add depth and structure to the palate. After fermentation, the wine is kept on the lees until bottled.

This is a deep, ruby coloured, concentrated red blend shows prominent aromas of dark cherry, blackcurrant and vanilla. On the palate cinnamon, sweet spice and ripe, juicy dark fruit together with a firm tannin structure, ensures good length and an enduring finish.Grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness. After de-stem, they were cold soaked for two days to extract more fruit character and enhance colour. The wine was inoculated with specially selected yeast strains and fermented until dry. Free-run juice was racked to barrel where it underwent malolactic fermentation. The wine was then racked from the lees and returned to barrel for 18 months of maturation. Recommendation This wine can be enjoyed on its own or with a variety of flavourful meat dishes.
