From South Africa's Western Cape. Cool hand harvested grapes are crushed immediately and the juice left for overnight settling. Cool fermentation of clear juice. Wines left on fine lees until just before preparation for bottling. Straw yellow in colour, on the nose you get apple, pear ,quince and light floral notes.Fresh and fruity with crisp acidity and minerality. A clean finish with subtle citrus and stone fruit.Serve with Roast Chicken, Asian Noodles, Seafood or Goat's Cheese

Special parcel purchase - Available while stocks last. Would normally sell for £22.99 per bottle.A lovely clean mineral fruity nose of hawthorn and acacia. The palate has notes of lemongrass and white peach and it is round and supple with citrus hints. The wine has a very long full finish and is rich and well structured - a good example of Chardonnay from this area in Burgundy. Ideal with seafood gratins, poultry, shellfish and sautéed vegetables, veal, or steamed fish, poached and in white sauce, flowery cheeses, such as Camembert, and Goat cheeses. Philippe Mariller, brother-in-law, Michel Gaillard, and his son Valentin, freshly graduated with a diploma in winegrowing and winemaking from the Davayé wine school, are the three partners behind this new wine domaine. The domaine is situated in the Viré area of the Burgundy wine region and has 42 hectares of vines including the magnificent ‘Epinet’ climat which enjoys a south-eastern exposure and produces some very dry and mineral wines.
