It is a harmonious wine that is not only fine and elegant but also has an excellent aromatic persistence. Best drunk cold with oysters, shellfish, fish, chicken, turkey and goats cheese.

Norte Chico Chardonnay is produced by the Santa Carolina vineyard, founded in 1875 and currently owned by the Larrain family, proudly championing Chilean Heritage with a focus on innovation. The estates, owned and managed by Santa Carolina, are located in Chile's Rapel Valley.This Chardonnay has rich tropical fruit flavours of pineapple and banana, well balanced by a refreshing acidity. The Rapel region has the perfect weather for growing grapes with clearly defined seasons; cool, rainy winters and long warm summers with high daytime temperatures, moderated by cool nights. This allows the grapes to slowly ripen and develop complex flavours. This wine is unoaked, delightfully fresh and well balanced with a ripe finish.Enjoy with seafood, fish or poultry dished but it goes equally well with simple chicken pie or soft cheeses.

Grapes are selected and destemmed before crushing. The wine spends 12 - 14 months in toasted American oak barrels which lend spicy aromas and flavours to the wine. The wine is Garnet red with tawny hues. Juicy hedgerow fruits and a touch of smoky vanilla on the nose backed by hints of cedar spice. Smooth and well structured with a lingering finish.Serve with any red meat, lamb, cheese and game.
