Gently aromatic with notes of hawthorn followed by citrus and some exotic fruits, with a vibrant palate showing great freshness and depth of fruit flavour.This has been a wine growing property since at least 1396, and has been the property of the d’Estutt d’Assay family (originally of Scottish origin) since 1586. The 23 hectares of vineyards were re-established in the early 1950s, with the current guardian of this family owned property, in Juliette d'Assay, making a single blend of the various terroirs each vintage. The wine is always ripe and generous, with currant and grapefruit flavours and improves for several years in bottle.Fermented in stainless steel.Suitable for vegans.Suitable for vegetarians.
