Assyrtiko Papagiannakos Greece

Fresh floral aromas of citrus, white blossom, mandarin and lime. Further citrus characters on the textured, mineral palate with a refreshing saline acidity. A zesty, crisp and characterful white with potential to age. Try with Swordfish - straight off the griddle, or roast belly pork.Produced from 100% Assyrtiko grapes. The vines are grown on unirrigated limestone soil at around 100m altitude, in north-east Attiki. Grapes are typically harvested towards the end of August. Pinot Grigio Home Farm South Eastern Australia

Pinot Grigio Home Farm South Eastern Australia

Light, crisp and refreshing with tingly acidity. Flavours of apple, lemon and pear combine to give the palate good length and intensity. Enjoy chilled as an aperitif or with fish and green salads.Berton Vineyards was established in 1996 by Bob and Cherie Berton when they purchased a block of land in High Eden, a subregion of the Barossa Valley, South Australia. This idyllic property sits 450m above sea level on gently rolling hills. Bob and Cherie set about planting the first Berton Vineyard cuttings that spring - ten acres of Shiraz and seven acres of Chardonnay. In 2005 when the former Southcorp winery in Yenda NSW became available, Bob and Cherie joined with Jamie Bennett, Paul Bartholomaeus and James Ceccato to form Berton Vineyards the company so that it could be in control of it’s own production. From humble beginnings in 2005 Berton Vineyards has grown into one of the 20 largest Wineries in Australia (Wine Industry Directory, 2011), Both the winery and their wines have received strong reviews and accolades internationally. In 2014 they were rated as one of the top 20 producers in terms of quality in Australia.  They put their success down to maintaining personal relationships with their customers.

Sauvignon Blanc Gran Reserva Novas Casablanca Chile Organic

Reduced to Clear.Greenish-yellow in colour and expressive on the nose. Very fruity aromas of grapefruit, pineapple, and gooseberries with notes of green chili  and white pepper. The palate features dense body with good acidity and silky texture. The high acidity and aromatic persistence in this wine make it an excellent aperitif as well as an ideal companion to shellfish and raw or cooked white fish. It can also be served with white meats such as chicken seasoned with lemon, salads, and fresh cheeses. Best served at 7º–10ºCThe vineyards are distributed among three major sectors of the Coastal Mountain Range in Leyda, Lo Abarca, and Rosario, although newer areas are constantly appearing. The region´s mountainous topography, it is cool climate, and its distinctively thin and rocky soil, produce white wines known by its minerality and an intense acidity. Fundo Rosario vineyards are located 250m above sea level in the Lagunilla zone. The vines are clone 242, vertically positioned, drip irrigated, and primarily planted on hillsides. The mountainous topography of the region, its fresh climate and its particular rocky and thin soil, produce white wines famous for their minerality and intense acidity. The grapes are machine harvested at night to take advantage of the naturally low temperatures and transported to the winery, where they are deposited into a pneumatic press. After pressing, the must is decanted and prepared for alcoholic fermentation by adjusting the turbidity level to 100 NTU and inoculating the tank with selected yeasts. Fermentation begins at 15ºC and finished at 16º–17ºC. The tank is then chilled to aid in the decantation of the coarser lees, and after 2 days, the clean wine is racked to tanks for aging. During this time, its lees are maintained in suspension for 3 months, which encourages the development of fatty and aromatic compounds and delivery of greater complexity to the wine. Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans. This wine is Organic.
