Zinfandel is a typically Californian vintage to have originated in Italy, more specifically in the Apulia Region of Southern Italy. It is believed to have been brought to California by emigrants from Southern Italy. The wine is made to a traditional process that takes into account the grapes character. This requires excellent quality grapes and the vineyards total dedication to this process. 

The wine is ruby red with crimson tinges and has aromas of coffee, blackberries, red berries. 

The palate is mellow to start, with round and delicate tannins. Then follows a warm lingering finish. 

Ideal with pasta, pizza, grilled chicken or on it's own as an aperitif.
