This is a big oak aged wine made on the estate of the Wente family winery in San Fransisco Bay. Livermore Valley is regarded as the best place to grow gapes there due to the climate it almost ideal.

This wine was aged in oak for seven months before bottling. The wine has green apple and tropical fruit aromas and flavours, balanced by subtle oak, cinnamon and vanilla from barrel aging. With a mouth filling body and balanced acidity this wine delivers a medium long refreshing finish.

This wine combines delicious red cherry and dried cranberry concentration, with a touch of dark spice. The palate has wild bramble and cherry pie notes. It finishes bright, fresh and gently toasty.

Fruit is sourced from a vineyard in Monterey, California’s Central Coast region and sit next to a chain of hills which separate the vineyards from the Pacific coast. The site benefits from the cooling breezes from the Pacific and as such lends itself to Pinot Noir. Fruit is destemmed before undergoing a period of cold maceration. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and 30% of the blend has then spent 8 months on medium toast French oak.

Serve with nduja topped pizza, crispy duck pancakes in hoisin sauce or Quorn spag-bol.

This soft succulent California Pinot shows ripe fruit flavours with a delicate mouthfeel. A swirl reveals aromas of dried red currants with hints of ripe cranberry, spicy cloves and vanilla. On the palate a refreshing touch of acidity is carried by racy flavours of pomegranates and black plums, while soft tannins on the finish are complimented by flavours reminiscent of grilled strawberries.

Drink with grilled salmon steaks or spicy chicken.

This is a modern Chardonnay, on the nose there is an appealing salinity over toasted hazelnut aromas. The palate has a stone fruit and struck match structure to it that gives it a gentle minerality.

This wine wants buttery chicken, pork tenderlion or a mushroom stroganoff.

Fruit comes from a vineyard in Monterey, California’s Central Coast region. The Chardonnay vineyard has its own AVA, San Bernabe and sits next to a chain of hills which separate the vineyards from the Pacific coast. Chardonnay benefits from the cooler evenings this region enjoys helping to maintain natural freshness. After careful selection fruit is pressed gently in a bladder press before fermentation in stainless steel. 20% of the blend is aged for 6 months in new and used French oak.

This wine has a bright hue and is medium straw in colour. The wine is filled with big, bright fruit aromas of pear and peach. The wine is viscous and creamy in the mouth.  All the flavour promised by the nose is amply delivered with a long finish. This wine has no oak ageing.
