This delicate sparkling wine has fine bubbles and a creamy palate which is the result of it being aged for 24 months in the bottle before release. The palate has flavours of peach and apricot which combine with the classic notes of brioche that is found in many sparkling wines. Good quality with a persistent finish.

 Produced traditionally by head winemaker Michel Lihrmann. Grapes are selected from vineyards with diverse soils - limestone, granite, gravel, marl and sandstone which impart different characters and styles to the overall blend. The grapes are harvested by hand and machine, depending on site. Pneumatic pressing, temperature controlled fermentation, no fining and light filtration before bottling, all to preserve the fruit and aromatics.

 Turckheim's Tradition range are benchmarks for the classic Alsace varieties. The Pinot Gris has lovely ripe pear and a touch of warm ginger spice on the nose and a medium bodied, just off-dry palate with a typically Turckheim finish - fresh and well-balanced.

It is well matched with meaty white fish such as monkfish, salmon or smoked trout and also with spicy Thai food.
